Participation

SCORE offers an RSL many advantages. It provides a record of who you are letting to, who you are housing and where, and what circumstances your tenants have come from and currently find themselves in. By keeping records year-on-year, trends can be followed, and the future of the RSL can be more accurately planned.

Each year all participating RSLs are provided with the following:

  1. A copy of the Annual Digest;
  2. A copy of the Mid-year Report;
  3. A copy of the Annual Summary Report for Scotland;
  4. Annual tables (financial year) specific to your RSL, together with a comparison against all SCORE recorded lets in the relevant area or Region and/or Scotland.
  5. The Online Reporting Facility, which allows RSLs to analyse any part of their submission in tabular and graphical format, and provides instant access to their past and current datasets (current dataset updated daily) allowing analysis at any time for SCORE participants.

In addition, RSLs can request specific information of interest to them. Common uses for the information collected and provided by SCORE include rent-setting, ethnicity monitoring, etc.

What do I need to do to participate in SCORE?

To get involved in SCORE is easy. All you need to do is ensure your organisation is registered with Communities Scotland as an RSL. Then, you need to notify CHR of your RSL Code so we can add your details to our database. Lastly, contact the CHR for advice and assistance on using the SCORE Online Submission system, and to get your login/password - and then you are ready to start submitting!
